Arrival

Registration/check-in begins, Wednesday, April 9 at 9:00am sharp! It will take place in the Atlas Foyer of the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center. Members of our staff will be happy to assist you and direct you to the right places once you arrive. Also, the hotel will be glad to hold your group's luggage in storage until your rooms are ready to be occupied. Try to arrive before 3:30p-this is when the delegate organization time starts and you will receive instructions from your conference leaders.

Registration/Check-in

If you are receiving this letter it means you have officially registered.  By now, you may have already talked to someone on our staff to confirm your group's registration and information. Once you arrive, check-in with us first before attempting to get your room(s). Signs will be posted to let you know where to check-in. Here is where you will receive all the WCYC 2008 materials for delegates. As the designated leader you will check-in for your group. Everyone in the group is not needed for this process.

Before you arrive take a look at the overall youth congress schedule. It is pretty packed! Inform your delegation what will be happening each day. This will also help you better plan the times that you will have free to hang out with your group or just to take some time to catch your breath. Workshops

At WCYC 2008 there are over 25 seminars/workshops for delegates to choose from! These seminars are conducted by some of the finest minds and professionals on the West Coast, and are divided up into three categories or themes: INVOLVE-workshops that pertain to youth leadership issues and training; LIVE-workshops that deal with youth life and how young Christians can best navigate a crazy world; SERVE-workshops that train youth how to effectively reach out to their community and change their world for Christ. WCYC 2008 Mass Choir

You and your group will have the opportunity to make a joyful noise at the youth congress! The WCYC 2008 Mass Choir will be performing all day Sabbath led by the dynamic and energetic Dr. Alan Woodson, former director of Another Peace. Rehearsals are on Thursday and Friday evenings. You can actually download the music and learn the songs before you even get to San Diego!

As you can see there will be lots going on in San Diego! We are excited about what God has in store for us-I know it will be a high spiritual experience.
